Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Play Your Role mobile app (the “App”) handles data. The App is developed by Enes Karakaş.

Summary

The App requires no account and does not collect your name, email or location. Player names you type stay on your device only. We do not operate our own server and never transfer your data to our own systems.

1. Stored only on your device

The following is kept in your device's local storage and is never transmitted to us:

Player names and game settings (timer, rounds, selected deck)
The last game's result (names and scores)
Your language preference
Your premium access status
A randomly generated customer ID (e.g. RO-A1B2C3D4). It cannot identify you personally and only helps us locate a purchase in a support request.

Deleting the App permanently removes this data from your device.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

You may optionally watch a rewarded video ad to temporarily unlock a locked deck. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may process device identifiers, approximate IP-based location and device/usage information to deliver ads and prevent abuse.

The App requests non-personalized ads and does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission, so your advertising identifier is not used for cross-app tracking.

3. Purchases (RevenueCat & Apple)

Premium is purchased through the Apple App Store; your payment details never reach us. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases; it processes purchase history and an anonymous user identifier.

4. Why we use this data

To run the game and remember your preferences
To verify and restore premium access
To show rewarded ads
To provide support if you email us

We do not sell your data and do not share it beyond the advertising and purchase providers listed above.

5. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn we have, we will delete it.

6. Your rights

Depending on your country (GDPR, KVKK, etc.), you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data. Because all app data stays on your device, uninstalling the App removes it. For data held by the ad and purchase providers, contact them via the links above or write to us.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates are posted on this page with a new date above.
